Chess has always been a popular game in our family. My grandad first taught me when I was about four or five, and later various family members gradually taught me the game. So it was decided that I would teach our son to play chess when he was around four. Unfortunately, I couldn't spark his interest in the game in the same way my grandad had with me. That changed when we researched children's chess coaches and eventually came across Dino. For about two years now, our seven-year-old has been receiving regular chess lessons from Dino and has now discovered how much fun chess can be. We owe this largely to Dino, who, with his open and positive approach, as well as a great deal of patience and creativity, can bridge the gap between child and chess.
